I ordered Crisis of Conscience from Amazon a couple of days ago and today got a reply back from Amazon that they don't have it. And they won't be getting it. What's up with that? I want to read Mr. Franz account. My daughter is refusing to speak with me this past year even though it's been over ten yrs. since I disassociated myself. I've never spoken out about my feelings and we got along fine before. Now she has decided that I am a terrible person. I know this is common behavior for anyone controlled by the THOUGHT POLICE, but it hurts.

Hello and Welcome to the forum!!!!!
Try ordering straight from Ray Franz himself. I am sure he will be happy to oblige.

Go to http://www.commentarypress.com They are the publishers of the book.
Also, you can order it off the Freeminds site too.
Hope this helps.

I must agree with my learned fellow posters on this, go directly to Commentary Press.
It's a bit like "I want to talk to the organ grinder, not the monkey!".
Why bother going to Amazon which is a "middle-man" when you can go and order direct from the publishers?
Personally, I found their response fantastic. From the time of ordering on their site, it took just one week to receive the book here "downunder".
I couldn't ask for better service.
Do it now. You won't regret it!
Cheers, Ozzie

I always try and support the local book stores and small websites like freeminds as opposed to Amazon. The only thing I order from Amazon are the latest popular DVDs and CDs. They have a great website though, which I use to print information like the publisher and ISBN, which I then take down to my local bookstores to order from them.

I've thought about ordering this book for awhile but never have. What benefits would I get from it if I already believe the Society's views are a crock?
Incidentally I'm leery of ordering from Amazon anymore. They changed their privacy policy and I'm not sure I like their "new light" on that issue either!
