My spies tell me that they are getting shown videos very regularly at the 2 day CONvention(tm).

I figured it may be because the WBT$ wants mass indoctrination using their tried and tested propaganda techniques.

The average elder won't be aware that the WBT$ uses these thought reform techniques so will be incapable of using them himself. Also, the elder might not put the money grabbing, 1984 ministry of truth spin on things and actually say something good instead. We know the WBT$ don't like 'good'! Good doesn't pay for lawsuits.

Any thoughts on the use of videos at the CONventions?

There is a scripture that speaks of a "sheet" from heaven. I'm pretty sure it's a prophecy about projector screens ( probably invented by an early pre-JW xian, LOL!!! ) that the ORG would use to teach Da Troof!

Videos are great for teaching the passive learner. You control the content as the producer. So no more rants about staying alive till '75!

They are a double-edged sword, because the producer controls the content. So no more blaming " stay alive till '75 " on a ranting individual. Capisce?

The WTBTS will make benign "Jesus Van Derbeek after-school specials" if they know what's good for them. This will ensure that only those with zero critical thinking skills advance to the "teaching" positions of the ORG.

Even so, the egos of the leaders will eventually provide evidence of their watchtarded buffoonery. This will in turn be shared on the Internet. Also, let's not forget that the Pedo trials are just getting started. IMO, the next decade is make or break for the WTBTS.

They either go mainstream and apologize/explain like the WWC and Mormons, or they go into full cult mode. Guess which group makes more money?

the video suck....both my son's think they suck...once the video come on, they shut off....while my wife is drinking it up like it is the fountain of life.
