The Eagles have done a fantastic job this year - don't they have home field if they win their next one? Put on top the fact that McNabb is out, and they still find ways to win - no doubt they are one of the ones to beat. But I think the reason no one's giving them any love this week is because even though they won Sat, they beat a Cowboys team that I could have beat by myself ... the Cowboys couldn't pull their heads out of their @ss long enough to do anything right Sat. Some of their plays look worse than a bad high school team.

This Saturday should be a great matchup. Eagles at Giants. One team needs to win to clinch home field throughout the Playoffs and the other team needs to win just to clinch a spot in the playoffs. Strahan. Tra Thomas. Shockey. Dawkins. This should be a very entertaining game!

    Go Birds!

    I don't like the Packers.

    I don't like the Packers.

I can't pick between Tampa Bay and Philly in the NFC.

It looks like OAKLAND all the way in the AFC.

So how 'bout: Oakland 24, Tampa Bay 14 ?????

[of the Jon Gruden - should lose to his old team - klass]

Hey, Heaven, you didn't forget about the hot tub, did you?

Geez, dubla still hasn't shown his face yet, huh? Who'd have thought the mighty Dolphins and future Hall of Famer Jay Fiedler (), would be beat by a 300 year old kicker? Or not have the ball on offense very much? Well, here's hoping Belicheck's defense does it's job on Sunday (unlike this pass Sunday )

I get the feeling that Gopher doesn't like the Packers

Crownboy- Your team was somehow listed on the "needs help" list on Monday Night Football-what's up with that???

Heaven -- I guess I don't like the Packers right now ; I think 2 other NFC teams have a stronger chance to advance in the playoffs. But if the Packers should advance and represent the NFC in the Super Bowl, then I will favor them as I did back in '90-whatever year they went to the Super Bowl and beat New England. (Okay I'm jealous of the CURRENT success the Packers are enjoying....)

Crownboy -- LOL , Gary Andersen is 43, and that 53-yard field goal he kicked for the Vikings was truly amazing. But the Vikings "deserved" to finally win a close one after all the close losses, including the overtime loss to Atlanta, and the CONTROVERSIAL Sunday night loss to the Packers (pass interference my foot). Can you believe that Coach Mike Tice and the kicker both say he's coming back for one more season, when he'll be 44? He's the same age the coach!!

The only "Green" going to the Super Bowl is EAGLES green!

Since the overrated Tampa Bay Bucs lost to the Steelers, the Eagles and the Pack clinched a first round bye and they will both host a home game in the 2nd round.

Here's how everything should pan out in week 17 for the NFC:

The Packers have not been impressive during their last six games, despite going 4-2. They go into a hostile Meadowlands this Sunday against a desperate New York Jets team. The Jets will win by at least 10 points.

The Eagles face the same exact scenario the day before except they will play the Giants. Unlike the Pack, however, the Eagles have looked impressive in their last six games (all wins and five straight with their back-up QBs, including 4 straight with their third stringer QB). The Eagles will win this game by 4. It will be an ugly, low scoring affair.

Atlanta will lose @ Cleveland. New Orleans will win at home vs. Carolina. Thus, Atlanta and New Orleans will be going to the Playoffs.

All of this WILL happen........unless, of course, I am wrong. Then, only some or none of this will happen. LOL!

    But, I trust me.

    E-A-G-L-E-S: EAGLES!
