I am very familiar with the La Feria AH and can attest to your comments regarding the local brothers. The fact that the WT did not utilize the La Feria AH for the RCs last year is due to them scheduling bigger groups in major metro areas like Houston. It's too bad that these brothers have to travel 5 1/2 hours to attend.

I definitely have something to say about forcing people to drive unnecessarily but the biggest issue to me is the proof in the pudding... they could not care less about those left behind. They are poor and can hardly contribute anything.
It is my strong conviction that the above is what ultimately led to the Malawi-Mexico situation. The GB on each case could have reasoned as follows..
On Mexico.... The org is growing there and they can really work and contribute towards advancing our interests. Let them cheat a little so far they can contribute to the cause financially and materially
On Malawi... We are hardly taking root there. They are poor and they can only contribute chickens to be sold a local market price. Given the political unrest, let this brothers provide us with martyrs that we can brag about on future publications to keep the others ones in line.
