  An elder in my congo gave a talk. He was always interesting to listen to and one of the nice guys. (The nice elders are always targets of the bully elders, no?)

  One of his illustrations included a scene from Star Wars.

  Later, the bully elder (CoBE), 'counselled(TM)' him very strongly and quite unpleasantly, about using violent movies in illos at the meeting(tm).

  Then we had a change of CO to another egotistical scrounger. In the CO's visit, the CO gave a talk and one of his illustrations included a scene from Star Wars.

  Of course the brown nosing bully CoBE didn't give the CO 'fine counsel(TM)'. Rather, he praised the CO for a 'fine upbuilding talk(tm).

  Things like this helped me to conclude that the Watchtower corporation was just a man's concoction. I further concluded that it is not a religion...it is just a money making scam....a big business.

  I guess mmost religions fall under this umbrella....I notice it with the WBT$ because they messed my mind up all my life.

  Hey punk, I remember that CO talk with the Star Wars reference, so that must have been during our overlapping™ time in the same congo. I didn't know about the earlier talk/counsel though. MW was/is such a nob. I remember some people gossiping disapprovingly after the CO talk, but I thought it was cool. I was already mentally on the way out at that point though (in fact, the whole time I was in that cong).

  Mak - Yes. MW was/is a powertripper. I sometimes suspects he isn't really a believer....just enjoys the presige being a CoBE gives him.

  Let's face it, outside of JW land he'd be a grovelling nobody. I wonder if he lurks on here.
