    Valis,

OK I've read your post twice and still missed the point. Either you forgot some words or I got less sleep than usual last night.

Stephanus and Expatbrit, I concur 100%!!! I actually haven't even responded to Fred's emails. (Nor about twenty others, if you are one sorry!!!!!)

As far as judging someone by the one-dimensional words on this forum, I guess that's yer call.

Little witch...never assume that something that YOU don't understand is out of context. There may be private communication going on between posters that you are not privy to.

    Little bitch witch:

That's a good one! You've only "recently registered" and yet you've seen "many of my posts."

Problem being, I haven't even *made* many posts these past months.

So unless you've become obsessed with going into DB history and reading my posts, you obviously aren't a "newbie."

Some of you really crack me up, you're too much of a coward to say what you believe under your own name, so you go and register a new one. Whatever!!!!~~ LDH

Perhaps you would like to read LW's introduction?

    Where she states;

    Hi everybody.

This is my first post. I have been reading the forums for some time, but have not posted til now, as it brings painful memories.~~LW

Why Lisa must she be someone who already posts here because she dares to disagree with you? Then you go on to call her a bitch and a coward. Something you just decried earlier on in this thread, name calling.

    IW,

: The WTS Blood policy is a religious issue not a crime. Witnesses voluntarily refuse blood for themselves and their children on religious grounds.

The key word is "voluntarily." Are you going to sit there and tell us that JW's refusal is "voluntary?" For any decision to be truly voluntary, it must be made freely, and with any outside recourse or undue influence whatsoever.

Now, since we all know what happens to dubs (especially life-long ones with many friends and family in the Cult) who "voluntarily" take blood (with the hospital liason crewing watching and recording any move, and so eager to report back any "crimes" to the elders), how can you tell us their decision to go against the dictums of the mighty Watchtower Publishing, Brainwashing and Shunning Corporation is really "voluntary?"

If I had you convinced over years and years of mind-numbing repitition that only I spoke for God and if you didn't drink my special cool-aid, that God would kill you and your family would disasppear from your life, and you chose to drink my cool-aid because you didn't want to face the consequences I just outlined, would you consider that a wholly voluntary choice?

    If so, how so?

When Fred got booted I was a touch concerned because I could not see what he had said because it had been deleted. But thats about it. I wouldn't be championing for his return.

How amusing. You should really listen to your own advice. Fread was axed becuase of his context and lack of an attempt to reconcile the problem. He was asked many times to edit or change his words or apologize as his post would be deemed inflamatory and an all round shitty thing to say. As he was asked several times to edit and apologize, which if you had been around or had bothered to be a bit obsessive about going back to discern what was going on you would have seen not his, but several apologies from people who felt they had said things and offended others that week, however that escaped even your powerful means of perception. How nice that you can waltz in and start spewing your self righteous crap without actually "witnessing" it Lisa. I won't even get into the insults which you launched at little witch, where you basically just shot yourself in the foot, even if lw is a multi account. My point before was stop being a shit stirrer and get on with it. You contribute good things, sass and all, but I think you lose credibility when you step in or into something without seeing the originating post. Get over it already and stop being so dam persnickity about Fred. He's over at the other board if you need a fix BTW. You can miss my point all you want, especially if it suits you mentality or argument, but you cannot deny that it wasn't noneya as we say in the Dirty South, especially if you weren't around. Have a good evening and for Dog's sake get your granny panties out of the megawad.

    LDH --

You've always seem to me to be a fairly reasonable person. I did read Fred Hall's original post and it was repulsive not only for the content but for the tone of the post as well. I haven't been around as long as you or some others, but what I've read of his postings leads me to ask, What did he contribute? Ever in the history of ever? His purpose in being here seemed to be one of ridicule and chaos. Yes I too believe he is narcisstic with a dash of sadistic cruelty thrown in. I don't hear you asking for his return sans apology, but I also wonder why so many people keep bringing up this subject. Maybe I missed the meeting but I thought one of the reasons Simon began this board was for people who have been hurt by Jehovah's Witnesses to have a place to come and talk about their experiences without fear. I am a survivor of incest and just about every other form of abuse there is. My family is from Arkansas if that tells you anything. Hillary makes a good point about victims. I wish more people could not only hear it, but listen as well.

Victims feel enormous levels of shame, anger and fear. You'll never know how hard it is to actually tell someone else what happened. To ridicule or call that victim a liar is like touching their eyeball. And realise that different people are going to react differently. How I would react if Fred Hall had made that post to me would probably be different than Jesika. Not better, not worse. Just different. I think if one cannot be sensitive to a victim's feelings, then do not participate in the thread.

I don't know you well, and as I said, you seem to be a reasonable person so I choose to believe that you did not mean the title of this thread in the way it came out. I think your choice of titles here was ill advised and under different circumstances you would have chosen a better one. Personally, I would LOVE not being a survivor of pedophilia. I do not wear it as some sort badge of honor or as you put it the Holy Grail. It is however, part of who I am.

Now then, can we please move on? Once and for all, let's please put this whole Fred Hall thing to bed. Even talk of cricket is more interesting than this old subject!

I've got a question: why would ANYONE give a crap about Fred Hall not posting here??? The guys an asshole of the first order, he obviously has mental problems and his sole purpose in life seems to be provoking people and then turning around Boo-Hoo-Hooing and whining about "free speech".

I remember a few years ago, he used to post on another JW board, and it got to the point where everyone totally ignored him. The guy's a troll.

    Farkel,

    Here is the whole quote:

The WTS Blood policy is a religious issue not a crime. Witnesses voluntarily refuse blood for themselves and their children on religious grounds. The blood issue is a religious issue. It is protected by religious freedom laws and children who can present themselves as mature enough to understand what they are doing, why they are doing it and the possible consequences, are many times under law allowed to refuse transfusions.( Here the question of "informed" choice many times come up but that too is based on religious issues.)

Did you notice the last sentence in parentheses? Yes, "informed choice" is an issue, an issue which still resides in the purview of religious beliefs. JWs choose to take the word of the GB above all others, that may be stupid but it is within the law. Which was the point of my post.

Also, it would be a mistake for anyone to think that all JWs follow the blood policy out of fear of the Watchtower or the Liason Committee. As much as it is hard to believe, there are JWs out there who truly believe the Bible, and on that basis alone will not take blood!

Holy Grail - Good one. This place is like the public at large - Some folks get away with things and some folks don't. I understand your point(s) Lisa. I've read many disturbing post and was surprise that no one said anything about them. But I realized that people can't really fully understand a situation unless they are in it, I just considered the source and move on.

Regarding Fred - I'm N/A regarding him. I never really read his post from day one. I knew he had much to say, but I just couldn't understand him. I think it has to do with JW's being here, preaching, etc, when they know they are not suppose to.

On another point - HS mentioned earlier, "I find it disturbing for example that the work of many to overturn the no less murderous WTS Blood policy has not found similar momentum because it is less news-worthy and has no public personality attached to it." I whole heartily agree. I can't wait until the Blood issue is more news worthy. Thinking about it, there are at least a dozen issues that involves innocent people's lives that need exposing. However, the silentlmabs issue is in the forefront now and making tremendous waves, it need to be supported as much as possible, as it will served as a stepping stone to other issues.

Lisa - Keep it coming :)

    Peace - LL

Look life is tough enough without someone giving you more Manure ( so I don't Offend any one) on top of things.

Yes, some times Manure helps things grow. But too much Manure can burn and kill the plants. So enough on the Great Caca.

We all have blemishes.. how would you feel if someone focused in on them and ridiculed you ???

There are medical issues for some people who are dealing with wieght issues. An it is a painful enough issue with out someone poking salt into the wounds that are already there. Wonderwoman..((Hugs)). Perhaps you need to read this and then you may understand that it is not just uncontrolled eating that causes this.

Many people eat normally and still gain the wieght it is called insulin resistance and it is fairly misdiagnosed by doctors. An many doctors have an attitude when it comes to overwieght people they immediately assume ( like many others) that they are eating constantly. So they don't look pass the person's looks, so the person goes undiagnosed.
