last you can not question The father our loving creator

IMHO, I don't think The Father, Our Loving Creator, cares if we question things.....I think He welcomes our questions....that's what life is about - Seeking and learning.

If god was all powerful and all good, why would he send them to earth....Couldn't he create another place he could send them too and let us live our lives the way he intended? Does god really need satan to prove a point. If whatever he says goes, couldn't he say that he is right and then it IS right?

badwillie and I were talking and he had another good point:

When the Ark of the covenant was falling to the ground, the man reached out to protect it. God killed the man right on the spot! Here is a man with a normal reflex and God punished him. ZAP! Kaput!

    What a loving God!

Yeah SYN, I was thinking along the same lines. I mean why is it limited to human terms and concepts like "location"? It just all seems so unreasonable when you consider an omnicient God throwing satan out, I mean what, its there really a set of pearly gates there with a satan proof padlock? It just doesn't make sense to me.

It's probably some very basic law that we don't comprehend. I'm not saying this is it, but the scriptures talk about God being full of 'light' (a power) and Lucifer as being "without light" (darkness).... "the darkness cannot comprehend the light"...(whatever) ..... maybe Lucifer is powerless because of the light (power) that he lacks. (I just read this....sighhhhhh....I just can't explain it, other than there are powers in force that we just don't understand)

What people tend to forget is that God is an Ass-Kicking Mo-Fo!! Read a couple of chapters in the OT and see how many millions of people he wiped out! "Noah! Get your stuff and pack cause im tired of all these attitudes around here and im flooding the place..!!"

While Jesus is easily identified as a benevolent lover of all people, God is more like a Biker who doesnt give a rats ass!! God Rules!!!

YEAH WHAT WAS THE DEAL WITH THAT MAN THAT TRIED TO STEADY THE ARK OF THE COVENANT???????????????????????

Sorry for shouting but I am pissed off,,,,,,,,,, I always wondered about this too. What if it was just a reflex action, I am sure it was.......... like you said zap!!! your out!!!

    NOT FAIR NOT FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess this bothers me so much because I would have probably done the same thing,,,grabbed at the thing so it wouldnt fall, he was only trying to keep the precious thing from falling and spilling alll over the place. Things like this just doesnt make sense.........

Here's another one for ya........ I have mentioned it before,,,,,,,,,, why did David and Bathsheba's child that was conceived from an adulterous relationship, have to die. The WT would say, the baby was probably sick anyway, bla bla bla,, but to me it seems that God used this to punish the parents. But isnt there a scripture that says the son shall not bear the sins of the father????

    ERRRRRRRRRR,,,,, Dede

    LyinEyes-

    Another good point! Thanks!

    Here's another one:

On the one hand, God says that he hates a child sacrifice. On the other hand, he killed all the firstborn of the Egyptians.

Also, Lot's wife was instantly zapped when she turned around and looked at her hometown being destroyed.

    Yet, Satan wasn't instantly zapped.

    ERrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Biggs, I am glad you brought this topic up......... I am going to get a notebook and write down all of these Biblical events and do more research on them. It just pisses me off!!!

Crazy 151,,,,,,,, A few months ago I decided I would pick up the Bible , American Standard this time not JW bible, and start ready from the beginning.

Well, I made it to Gen. chap 6 and got mad and put it down. It was the chapter about God killing everyone and everything but Noah. I don't understand, I don't think I will ever be able to accept that God did that.......... sounds too evil....... unloving and a too out there for me to believe anymore.
