I think that the GB could eventually change the teaching and say that the 144,000 is symbolic and still keep the 2 classes. The 144,000 would just be a significantly smaller number than the great crowd. But they don't have to make any changes in the doctrine until around 2034.

Not necessarily. They count Sanderson as an overlapper and in 2014 he won't yet be 70 years old.
Jackson would be less than 80, and Morris age 84. They are overlappers too.
Given the cushy life of a Bethelite and their access to top-notch medical care, those guys could very well still be going strong.

2034You have not been reading or following WT literature, or any of my posts about "generation." 2015 or 2016 is the max limit of any Bible definition for "this generation" in connection with 1914, and a century of announcing that there is a new sheriff in town is the absolute max. The preaching work does not make any sense after "this generation" that rejected it are all dead. Something must give within the next couple years. Didnt you read the WT study article inviting world rulers to surrender to God's kingdom? I think that everyone believes that the GT will hit any day now, not many years from now. That is how I see it.
