Finally I can post: Maurice and I saw the City TV coverage last night : The evening female anchor said she was at the trial yesterday...there is no question this is stirring things up. Yet again, [as with Dateline and Panaroma] the victim IS COMPLETELY BELIEVABLE and from what expatbrit reported, the WT lawyer is, no surprise, insensitive.
I think the specific Witnesses sued in this trial would have been smarter to just apologize and settle out of court. The amount of negative publicity they will receive -- you can't put a price on that.
This just brings back so many memories of our trial. I hope this case will convince all victims, non-Witnesses as well, to stand up and say we're not going to take this shit anymore!!!
