I was thinking today about that paradise garden the Witness always pictured. I remember all those happy blank faces, with the rosy cheeks and content look. They were all smiling eating a apple, petting a lion, and running around the trees. It all got me wondering, what plants will be in that garden?
Will their be a little Hemp in the corner, or perhaps a few plants along that brick side walk to tend too? If so, will this be how they get all those odd smiles, and find entertainment in lion petting for years and years. After all, Hemp is not a plant created by man in some laboratory ... it was around for millions of years growing wild.
So basically, do the Jehovah's Witnesses in those pictures look like "they smokem peace pipe?" Perhaps that is why they will need so many gardens and fruit trees, for the "holy" munchies.
Just wondering
Will they grow Hemp in that Paradise garden?

In the 'New World' (tm) today's World Cotton Cartel will still kick anyones butt if they try to seriously grow hemp, the superior clothing, multi-use, e nvironment friendly raw material.

Hehehehe, what an interesting thought! Most likely, if you want to take the hypothesis to the extreme, right after Armageddon the Tower will mount an organized campaign to rid the world of marijuana and psilocybin plants, and hallucination-inducing cacti! What a wonderful place to be!
Of course the Tower will do this and completely overlook that powerful drugs can still be manufactured in labs...*sigh*....

You would be spiritually weak if you grew such plants........

No room for spiritually weak people in the new world. You are looking too finly at the details. It will be good, whether we are all coked out or not.

Hemp is a naturally occuring plant.
If we assume that the imaginary Hebrew tribal god created all of the other plants, then hemp must have also been created by him, too. Therefore, it would actually be disrespectful to refuse its presence in the paradise garden.
The same goes for poppies, magic mushrooms, and lickable frogs.

Perhaps the Witnesses should change their theme song to ...
"Take me down to Strawberry Fields ... Strawberry fields forever!!" by the Beattles
