And just why the hell is Iraq still on the map?!

We've had our time to remember and mourn and heal. No more memorial services are going to make me feel any better about what happened last year. No more songs, no more prayers, no more wreaths. I turned off the remembrance programs on the radio around noon. One station replayed the "Message from God" (you know the one, it goes "I was on the so and so floor of the building when the plane hit...") and I just couldn't take it anymore.

I want to see some action.

    Mike.

The hell they didn't! We have an Iraqi agent in prison serving a long sentence for participating in bombing the World Trade Center in 1993. Saddam was humiliated in 1991. He tried for payback in 1993 - it didn't totally work. He help complete the job on September 11, 2001.

ISP, at this point none of the Middle Eastern nations are worth trusting. Iraq especially.

Saddam does possess chem/bio weapons. He is (not was, is) trying to build a nuclear arsenal. Iraq has no need for nuclear weapons. Iraq has no need for the chemical/biological weapons they currently possess, nor should they be allowed to keep them. The Iraqui military under Saddam's leadership has deployed chemical weapons against their own people. They must be disarmed and rendered harmless immediately!

And I don't mean to single out Iraq either. Iran also has sought to acquire nuclear weapons. Pakistan has a nuclear arsenal. Neither of those nations have shown themselves to be a 100% ally of the U.S. in the "war on terror". Nor have the others. They welcome U.S. dollars for their oil, but to many over there we are "the Great Satan" and they rejoice in the streets when hijacked airliners bring down our skyscrapers.

And then Iraqi newspapers commemorate the 9/11 mass-murders with the headlines "God's Punishment".

    Bombs away!

REALLY?! How sick. I admit, it's tempting not to blow those religious wackoes out of the water, but that just wouldn't be right. Right? ...

Bendrr check out www.debka.com sounds like it shouldn't be that long. Those guys haven't been 100% accurate but they're right a lot more often than they're wrong and they almost always break stuff before anyone else.

    bendrr,
so arab nations cannot have bio or chem weapons or nukes but its ok
that the US and israel have them and uses them?
did you ever think about why the arabs might have seen the destruction
of the WTC as a just punishment?
are you aware of the fact that hundreds of thousands of iraqies
(UN observation) died since the golf war because of an embargo that
    doesn't weaken hussein at all?
or why do you think some palestinians cheered after the attack?
there is a reason why these people hate the US and its not the
    lifestyle that US citizens have!
