  I didn't say it was ok for anyone to have them. Just like you or anyone else, I'd rather no one had them.

  But the U.S. does have nukes and while we are reducing our arsenal, we won't get rid of all of them just yet. Not as long as other nations who can do us harm possess them. And yes, I stand behind my statement that Iraq does not need weapons of mass destruction and that the U.S. should take whatever measures are necessary to take away their chem/bio weapons and prevent them from getting nukes. Would you prefer Iraq and Iran become nuclear powers?

  Here you going again spouting out this crap. Isreal has never used them, 

  the U.S. has only used them twice- to stop the worst war the world has

  ever seen. But here you are trying to insinuate that we go around

  nuking everyone we see. If we didnt have nukes, the Russians would have

  taken over parts of Europe during the cold war. If we didnt have nukes

  Saddam would have gassed us during the Gulf War. Nukes are a DETTERENT.

  If Saddam gets them he will either A) Nuke Isreal or B) Invade Saudi Arabia 

  becuase we (the US) will not be able to do anything about it. What you 

  fail realise is the ISREAL would not think twice about nuking IRAQ

  if they felt threatened. The ONLY reason IRAQs people are Starving is

  because Saddam wants to get some WMDs. If he had stopped, there would

  be no Embargo. Have you noticed that the ARMY isnt Starving??? IRAQ

  is messed up because of SADDAM, not the U.S. Stop buying all that 

  bullshit.

  i didn't say the US is nuking everyone they see. but the fact is that their boms have killed more people since WWII than anyone else has.

  i find it a little weird that a nutcase like bush is considered to be qualified to control nukes while hussein is not. what makes you think hussein has a more agressive foreign politics than the US? i am not a big fan of this guy but i think there is no sign that he would attack anyone (the watr between iran and iraq was bound to happen in any case, and he invaded kuwait only after they had drilled to the iraq side to get theiroil and after the US embassador gave green light for the invasion). also why in the world would he use a nuclear weapon against isreal as long as he is not attacked? would that make sense? certainly not since it would be his death sentence!

  i agree with you that israel wouldn't hesitate to use a nuke against anyone of its neighbors...one more reason why i think the US should get out of that area!

  The difference Realist is the Hussien CAN do WHATEVER he wants because he is a DICTATOR. As much as Bush would love to blow up Saddam, he cant just go over there becuase we the American People can fire his ass. SADDAM can invade whoever he wants, whenever he wants, because he answers to NO ONE! This is a KEY difference between the two! And as much as Bush likes his bombs he is not starving us to make them!

  well that is of course correct.

  however, bush has pretty much the main US media at his disposal...they tell the people what the right thing to do is (attack iraq). so he does it on a more subtle level than hussein.

  i am not so sure that the US industry would care about people starving in the US if they would get a profit out of it.

  hussein is a unscrupulous dictator...there is no question about it... the only question is are the people that are in control of the US much better than he is!? i really doubt it.

  You obviously haven't been paying much attention to the US media. They spend 90% of their time saying the US shouldn't attack Iraq.
