I, just recently, saw an Oprah show that dealt with financial matters. What was said repeatedly in the show was that if you go to the financial institute you got your loan from...many times you will find that due to "circumstances" they will work with you. They have a vested interest, as do you. All it takes sometimes is talking to the other end. Good luck in this endeaver.

Dazed is correct. My daughter used to work for a credit union in collections. She was taught to try to work out a payment plan for those who had late pays. The last thing they want to do is reposses your car, and have to sell it. They are in the loan business, not the care resale business.
