Yesterday I was at the book store and picked up a book titled Recovering from sexual abuse, addictions, and compulsive behaviors. I thought it would be great for my job. I was sitting in the tub earlier reading the Preface, Acknowledgemetns and Introduction (yes I read those). The second paragraph of the Introduction states
I had just distributed an article titled "Traumatic Child Sexual Abuse, Psychological Death, and the Reduction of the Belief in the Power of God,"

oh my gawd I can't believe it!!!!!! A year or so ago the author Sandra Knauer emailed me after reading my article on my website. She wanted to use the article in her book. I gave her permission to use the article. She wrote me to let me know that the book had been published in the US but I didn't think I would see it here in Canada.
Well when I saw the book I didn't remember the request for publication but there it is. She talks about how she used the article in her groups with sexual abuse victims and their reactions to it.
What an amazing feeling to see your name and work quoted and discussed in a published book
