Saddam was not the cause of 9/11 , how will killing him make the world safer? It may make it worse.

I think you need to either do a little reading or turn on the evening news. You'll quickly see what a danger Saddam is.

"I think you need to either do a little reading or turn on the evening news. You'll quickly see what a danger Saddam is. "

Done all that mate. How will killing Saddam stop terrorists, which are the bigger threat?

(By the way America refuses to stop polluting the planet , as the worlds biggest polluter maybe we should bomb the US as they pose the biggest threat to our health and that of our children.Pollution KILLS just like Bombs.)

These issues are bigger than a simple solution.

I think the UK will support action against Iraq. They will give the UN an oppportunity to sort things out.....if it doesn't the US/UK will attack.

I think a lot of people who do not support war in any way shape or form, are the same type people from the 60's, who would rather have peace marches, and sit and do nothing. It would be one thing if there was nothing but peaceful people out there, then we could all do whatever the hell we wanted, and no one would care.

The fact is that Saddam, with one of the worlds largest armies, when he is able, will absolutely kill without remorse, would not hesitate to literally blow up anyone and everyone in his quest. Are we forgetting that he killed his son in law? Have we seen what he has done to his own people? Do we really think for a second that if he had the chance to nuke us, that he wouldn't? He doesn't care, he does not value life.

Don't think for a second that the leaders in Washington have not thoroughly thought this out. They do not attack "just because."

This is a situation that we cannot just sit back and hope that nothing bad happens.

Thank God we have people in office with guts, that are willing to do what must be done, regardless of if they have everyones approval. There are reasons they are in office. They have taken the chance to go do what most people won't, to go out there and make a difference.

It is people like that who will have to thank when our grand children actually have a place to call home. Someone who stood up for what is right.

    Then you think wrong.

Maybe some people like to consider the best course of action and to them at this time it is not KILL KILL KILL.

Cant you see that your playing into his hands, he wants to convnce the muslim world the west is the devils world, and by doing nothing but destroying and murdering your proving him right a nd hes going to rally more and more support. And if Hussein is being naughty, then this is exactly what we dont want, right? And if he isnt, which seems likely due to the complete lack of support from eastern nations, unlike the Gulf war, then thats bad news for the west surely.

I think its pathetic the amount of people who would rather see a mushroom cloud in Iraq, just because they believe without question what they are told. Ring any bells? All the news over here is ONE SIDED and most of it is PROPAGANDA so why the hell do you rush to judge without knowing the facts?

Has a single person here been to Iraq, seen all the alleged naughty stuff with their own eyes and can 100% confirm it?

You two are priceless. Similar things were said when Hitler was in power. Almost exactly the same things. Thankfully we now have a leader that won't sit around and do nothing as you two suggest.

    LB,

's OK, Brits always do this when they're preparing to rip someone's head off, we're just getting rid of the guilt stuff prior to ACTION!

    Look:

The following is the wording of the printed statement that Neville Chamberlain waved as he stepped off the plane on 30 September, 1938 after the Munich Conference had ended the day before:

"We, the German Fuhrer and Chancellor, and the British Prime Minister, have had a further meeting today and are agreed in recognizing that the question of Anglo-German relations is of the first importance for our two countries and for Europe.

We regard the agreement signed last night and the Anglo-German Naval Agreement as symbolic of the desire of our two peoples never to go to war with one another again.

We are resolved that the method of consultation shall be the method adopted to deal with any other questions that may concern our two countries, and we are determined to continue our efforts to remove possible sources of difference, and thus to contribute to assure the peace of Europe.

"My good friends, for the second time in our history, a British Prime Minister has returned from Germany bringing peace with honour. I believe it is peace for our time...
Go home and get a nice quiet sleep."

Hope everyone understands why I've posted this, it's just that we'v been here before!

    Logical,

I have been to Iraq. I have seen what Hussein had, friends of mine died as a result. Friends of mine are sick as a result. How's that for an answer.

I'm not so sure we've been HERE before.

Hitler and Saddam are two different people with different objectives and methods at their disposal.

Hitler had definate aims and plans for his new empire, and had a MIGHTY army already in place, Saddams army does not come even nearly close .Saddam may use a nuclear wepon in his maddness , fair enought, but is that the biggest threat?I say no.The biggest threat is a continuation of hatred between certain groups and countries which are known to use terroist tactics to fight their cause. If we use too much froce in stopping Saddam the consequences may be bigger than the small nuclear strike Saddam would be capable of.
