Viv,
The power of your love flows through your hand into your grandmother's; but it's power of such subtle force you can't feel it. Love is the most powerful force in the universe.

viva, we had the same experience some time ago with our grandma who got 90 years old.
within one week she stopped walking (with our aid), sitting. And within that short time she became unable to eat and to drink. We saw her getting down from the living. she layed in her bed, eyes open, mouth open, snoaring.
We held her hand, speaking to her about the past. If she recognized it we dont know.
the last 2 days she was not "present". The last hours her breething went low and stopped sometimes. so she died wihtin her family, saw her children, grandchildren, greatgrand children.
So we see that death is the enemy of mankind. its an endless love from god to keep us back to life by Jesus Christ who released us from the bonds of death.
I know that my redeemer liveth and that he will arise over the dust - this quote is from Job but gives us indeed fine hope out of the view of a pre christian loyal one.
May his belonging come through and get our benefit too.

In the end, all that matters is love.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((VIV))))))))))))))))))))))))) you said it! luv,dj
Viv...you are a great grandchild. I wish my daughter had your empathy and love for her grandmother. My daughter is a 100% Dubbie who never really showed any affection to her grandparents and now that they've DA'd themselves, she probably will never see them again. You are to be commended for you caring, loving attitude. Your grandma is lucky to have you.

That is so true.
(((((Vivamus and your grandmother))))) Dear Viv, your grandmother will live on in your memories of her, in how she affected your life, and it was a blessing that you had her to love you all those years. She appreciates you too - she knows how special she was to you and what a bright star you were to her. Your love will help her through this final life event and make it easier for her. My prayers are with you both.
Love,
Nina

I understand, my grandma is 87, and I dont think she has alot of time here either. Just do what you are doing, and love her til the end of her days.
