Did YOU CHEAT on Your Time?

Hi Minimus: I too collected time reports. We had a few who were never seen out in FS ... at least not at the meetings for FS ... but they managed to rack up 30 or 40 hours a month ... we discussed a couple of these in our Elders meeting and considered holding their time cards in the 'Weird' file and not tabulate it with the report to the Society ... and seeking the COs advice ... but, somehow we did not do that, and just counted the time and never got around to talking it over with the CO ...

Did I cheat on my time? Well, let's say that I learned how to cut corners and round off to the nearest hour.

PS: I think if the 'weird' reports had been from brothers we might have questioned them more in the event the CO wondered why we were not using them as MSs.

One good way to cut corners is to drive from one end of the territory to the other and make return visits that you know are not home. And then just stay at the door for a few extra minutes....but that ain't really cheating, is it?

Makes me wonder just how accurate the end of year report is.

    It isn't.

Service Department will simply say "It's an indication".

    But then, isn't everything?

    Cheers, Ozzie

I did not go in service for about a whole year, yet I reported a few hours. I would talk to my sons and counted that time. Also they never said anything about how little I put in or if I had a good month.

There were a lot of times when my son and I skipped our family study but I counted it anyway.

Yes. The last two years I did. I didn't want the "little visits". I never went out, but counted 3 or 4 hours a month. No placements.

We had a phantom pioneer too, when I was pioneering. We never saw her, and she always had her time in by the 20th. Who can figure?

Well I am the Doh Doh on the line- I put MY time in & did extra ( without counting it) because I knew a couple that WAS cheating on time- & because I wanted to keep the organization Truthful.I felt Jehovah would count it as Their time.

    Alright you lot stop ROTFL.
