Hello Again. I just had some ideas for those that will not be able to make it to the march. For what it's worth, here are my thoughts:
1. Write letters to the Governing Body
2. Take up a petition in your area (many times corner stores and such will support a petition such as this at their register)
3. Make copies of Newspaper Articles and such
4. Anything else you can think of to send to the march
You can mail them to me if you wish and I will take them along. I'll leave them at the front door with my little lamb, just email me for the address. I don't know if these are good ideas or not, but perhaps it will spark an interest for a better idea. The numbers that will be at the march seem like they're growing (I hope), but even still, it will be a fraction of those that WISH they could be there. I know not everyone could make it. If I weren't so close I wouldn't be able to either, so I'm just trying to come up with ideas to show both the GB and the Media that everyone is there in spirit, I know time is running out, but are there any other thoughts?

RevMalk! Wowowowza Yowowowza! Your enthusiasm and encouraging Pep Talk is contagious. I liked your "Refugee" description. LOL!
We should have tried to organize more CAR POOLS for those who can't afford air fare etc. from various cities around the country. I didn't think of that before!
Anyone in FLORIDA wanna drive up? I wouldn't trust my old car to make it that far, but I'd be happy to chip in for gas, etc. Also I just thought of this idea, too: My sis lives near Wash, DC. If some of us could at least drive there, then maybe there is a train or speed-rail that goes from Washington to New York?? Then we could go back that night to Wash. DC and stay at my sisters and save on hotel fees. (My Rand McNally road atlas says it's about 237 miles between Wash, DC and NY, so that's like 5 hours by automobile). Yes, it's a little late, but I didn't think of this before. I just kept thinking I couldn't afford to fly, too far to drive, can't afford NY hotel, etc. etc. But if anyone sees this, write to me here: [email protected]

As a possible point of interest, my travel agent found a "Comfort Inn" in Brooklyn @ $160 per night, in case I decided to stay over. The last time in the city I paid $270. Youre right, New York area hotels are not cheap.

Hotel Kingdom may not look like much, but I use them every New Years and they're great! We usually get a nice room for less than 200.00 even on New Years.

I have a 2nd car which if someone knows how to drive stick (seriously, I don't want the trannie or clutch ruined). If anyone want's to make a stop in Cleveland, OH or drive to there and take my other car - I'll consider it if it means someone who REALLY NEEDS to be at the march will be there. Or you can sit the back seat of my Porsche ( I highly do not recomemnd that) and watch movies. Offer available - drop me a line if you want.
