Considering that religion has found its way into our government I think it is only right that we Tax them like any other business. As for the power companies, thank deregulation for that mess.

I am so thankful to have found this site. It has allowed me to see the "bigger picture" unfolding. What I know now more than ever is that principles monitor ALL situations. What's happening with the WBTS is just the outworking of universal consequences. I am learning an important lesson. Regardless of where the WBTS ends up, I myself will also not escape the outworking of these universal consequences. It's not anger-fueled punishment, just consequences. I liked what Sentinel said. Whatever comes "down", it's gonna be an individual "accounting". I will never be relieved of personal responsibility, no matter how religions end up. And I thank those of you on this site that have help me see the importance of true integrity.

religion sells the most important product that man needs HOPE AND as long as man has a need for hope there will be some belief system out there selling it.

James, in my opinion, conformity, for most Jehovah's Witnesses is as important as hope, if they are not immediately threatened.

Many people can be easily convinced to feel comfortable or safe, in relation to rest of the world, amongst a 'special' group that is controlled to look and act similarly, and that conformity is one of the best selling features of the WTS, outside of utilizing the fear factor of losing ones social support.
