"Jehovah will sort it out"

  How often have you heard that? An awful lot recently, thats for sure. With all the exposure going on over the The Great Big Watchtower Paedophile Cover-up, weve been hearing it both from reporters who quote the Societies/elders justification for their failing to act properly as shepherds; and also - if you're like me with some faithful family members still in - as a kind of head-in-the-sand mantra from the poor old confused and demoralised rank and file.

  Heard anything like this?

  The defences go up, and they hide away from the awful truth.

  But what intrigues me, and what I find significant, is that among witnesses of my acquaintance, how readily they will accept the idea, once suggested to them that...

  It is significant, because usually there is simply a vast uncrossable chasm between seeing things as a faithful dub, and entertaining any of the ideas put forward by opposers and apostates

  But this idea does genuinely seem to be getting under their guard.

  Apparently Brooklyn are becoming more and more worried by this issue. They have good reason. This is an extremely powerful idea, and if its time has come, and it gains currency among the faithful, well, thats the end of the Watchtower as we know it.

  Has anyone faced with disfellowshipping for immorality ever tried to say to the elders, 'Let's not pursue this subject. Jehovah will work it out in his due time'? I would not imagine that the response would be favorable. So why should it hold up here? Argh.

  Jehovah does not work at the laundry. So what about all this sorting out stuff? The abuses of the WT are well chronicled, and waiting on "Jehovah to sort stuff out" is just a lame cop out, and many many more people are hurt and will even die at the hand of Watchtower policies. It sickens me that my parents are still active JW's and have to believe this crap. The active JWs who continue to speak out against WT policies will be uniformly disfellowshipped, causing the others to walk with their tails their legs and biting their tongue. This isn't about a relationship with Jesus or anything else, but a tyrannical organization who continues to spit out junk from Brooklyn. The only way to hit the WT is in the pocketbook, and I hope more brave souls will come forward and speak the truth about the borg.

  The biggest idea that they must fear is:

  "The organization is dying"

  Losing young people, losing money, elders quitting,lawsuits piling up,

  It'll be awhile yet - Witness ignorance should be almost legendary.

  But it will come.....

  I know what you mean. I think it is a possibility that God is 'working it out'. He works in mysterious ways, after all. His ways aren't ours. hmmm. love, dj

  If jehovah is using apostates to clean up his org, then dubs should not be resisiting apostate efforts. After all, they are doing jehovah's will.

  Maybe "Jehovah" is sorting it out. Unfortunately not the way WTS wants it sort out. WTS wants it sorted out by Amagedon. Maybe it's going to get sorted out by the police instead. Followed by many elders and the GB going to jail. Exposing how with their policies promoted and allowed this atmosphere.

  I love twisting their reasoning around agaist them.

  SS, You're right, that's the point. They never could recognize Him. That's their whole problem.
