How about not sending people out to try to make converts in an area that is a hotbed of criminal behavior, at the threshold of war, in the midst of religious and political and economic conflict, filled with a christian-hating sentiment, JWs in particular, and that is presently known around the world for kidnapping and beheading people.

Or is that what we're supposed to be saving everybody's life FOR? So they can be available to do that.

Nothing wrong with all the other stuff on the list as far as I can see but "No bullfighting"? Quite right too, Bullfighting is vile and barbaric, and people who find it entertaining are a right bunch of sickos IMHO. (Matty ducks for flames)

My take on this stuff, for whatever it's worth. I see nothing wrong with the WTBTS, or anyone eles for that matter, deplore some of these idiotic life-endangering pursuits. Deplore and upbraid to your hearts' content, I say, but leave adult people fre to decide for themselves, without the club of shunning looming in the background.

And yes, badgering people into swleering in 100 ddgree heat at an out-of-doors convention is every bit as dangerous as some of the pursuits enumerated in the article, especially for the very old and the very young... or all but the very fit.

The WTS would view sitting in the sweltering heat as endangering your life for God which is acceptable.

I've always wondered how the WTS reconciles this idea of risking one's life with those men and women who are EMTs and firefighters. Can an JW firefighter run into a burning building to save someone and be bloodguillty?

Hey LB, you can still do oral, but you can't do it while free-falling, base jumping, or rock climbing (NO getting your rocks via two methods at the same time, thus being unequally yoked). OH, and you can't do it while driving. I think you can GET oral while driving, you just can't give any. I think you CAN get someone off while driving, you just can't do it with your face.

It's a complex subject, but in his own good time, Jehovah will straighten everything out. Frankly, I'd prefer someone else straighten it out, but you never know, you know?
