I was just looking at the reports on the movement of tropical storm Isidora and noticed that it is expected to be afffecting the greater NYC metropolitan area on FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

    Brink wet weather clothing!

If this link works you'll see a map from NOAA.

OH boy, I can just imagine the Old Boy's in Brooklyn chuckling to themselves at the sight of "Jehovah raining on Silentlambs parade."

    Isolated Thunderstorms

However, the weatherfolks were predicting rain for last weekend's African American Day Parade in Harlem, NY and it was sunny the entire weekend.

We'll see what the next forecast is in the morning.

If it rains heavy on the Silent lambs March it only means one thing:

Jehovah is crying a lot of tears of compassion for the SilentLambs.

More it rains the more Jehovah hurts.

I just noticed that the NOAA map is "auto-magically" updating itself!

When I first posted it, the furthest out it went was Friday afternoon, now it's showiing Saturday...

Yes, Weather prediction is almost as shot full with errors as Bible chronology.

The map is a probability chart - that's why it is shaped like an upside down teardrop -the narrow base is where the storm is known to be right now, but the storm could be anywhere within the teardrop, or it could peter out completely before it reaches NYC.

But it is always best to be prepared.

All I have to say is this:

When have the weather predictions been accurate? The weather channel shows us the maps, and they seem to be wrong most of the time.

I think it might be chilly and a bit windy in NY, but no rain. That's my forecast.

Let's all think positive!! (But, go ahead and take your rain slicker and umbrella, just in case.)

Please note that the NOAA map has been updated and now shows that the storm will move in a more northerly direction than originally predicted. Looks like NYC will not be hit too badly at all.

    GOOD NEWS!
