Swan, I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. Your post show's what a good person you are and that you have a good heart. I think if we act on what they would do, we wouldn't make that call, but I tend to agree with others here. I would call. Never let anyone or anything stop you from having the good heart that you have. Let us know how your phone call went and how you are doing, k?

I found out that they are okay. In their own dysfunctional and disorganized way they didn't even realize that it was me. The twister missed them.

    Whew!

Thanks Tink. I was very angry with them for many years, but I never stopped loving them. I do worry about them and am just glad the rest of them are safe.

They have each other through this time of grief, so I am all alone with it except for you folks, my husband, and my co-workers. Everyone has been very supportive. Thanks!

I'm so glad their ok, and that you called them.

In their dysfunctional and disorganized way

OMG I had to laugh that's probably one of the best ways to discribe them hahah, that and funny as hell.

    Venice,

The term "controlled chaos" also comes to mind. There's always something going on there, isn't there?

Sorry. I didn't make the connection to the game when I typed in the subject title.

That was a game we weren't allowed to play as kids, BTW. I didn't understand why my Mom was against it until I got a little older. I still thought it was rather innocuous though.

It would be interesting, with the current craze in nostalgic toys, to see if a bedspread colored like the twister mat would sell as a novelty item.
