We're Fixin' to leave in afew minutes. The Hospital is only 15 min away from our home so I can check in and out on our Pup's and Birds. Dj...I'm a great cook...Nothing to worry about there. The Doc said he would do it Laproscopically and would only do open surgery if after he starts he feels that the stone which is lodged in her bile duck has moved too close to her liver, but he seems to feel that is unlikely. Thanks for all your prayers and concerns. I'll take the best care of our little Tink that I know how. Dede...she's already spoiled rotten...now she'll be worse if you can imagine that...LOL

I'll be posting later to update you all. Thanks again friends!!!!!

CC, Tink is lucky to have you. She will be just fine. If they do have to do it by opening her, that's how mine was done, and I was just fine. Just a little more sore that the other thats all. She seems like a tough gal, she's going to do just fine. And trust me when I say, if she has been sick like I was with mine for years, she will be so happy once it is done. She will feel like a new person.

    Good luck

Give Tink hugs for us, she will do just fine, and soon be back feeling like herself again. Make sure she takes it easy. The best to you both. Just getting rid of the awful pain she has been experiencing will make her feel so much better. Thinking of you.

    CC,

My thoughts are with you and Tink. I believe that she will feel so much better right after surgery. Having to deal with horrible pain day to day, is terrible. I know. I've had to do the "mind over matter" strategy to get me through the worse bouts of Fibromyalgia, that can last weeks and months. There's nothing they can do for the pain except dish out those pain killers, and they can become addictive. I've stayed clear totally clear from drugs, unless I need them for a very short period of critical, debilitating pain.

I think I told you that my hubby had his gallbladder removed when he was fourteen! It's so different now, so much better for the patient, and a much shorter recovery period.

You will have to let us know how she does.

CC I had open for my gall bladder removal and that isn't a big deal. A litte more recovery time but it's as safe as anything else. She will be fine. Send her our love.

gosh, i'm sorry to hear how much pain she's been in and that the surgery date hasn't been close enough.

tell her to pick out a good dream while she's under, a lot of people are thinking about her and wishing her well. it's hard for you CC because you have to see her go through this and then to wait for it to be over. but it will be over. hugs from Jackie in nebraska.

Tink take advantage of all the pampering you can get !!!
