Actually I'm an Ordained Minister (Lutheran) now. Unlike some I've talked to, I never lost my belief in God...just my mindless belief in an organization. I'm thinking that a different pic might be more appropriate here though.

As to why the Lutherans....

We are a branch actually....It is the Lutheran Branch of the Evangelical Protestant Church. Oddly enough the Presiding Minister for the EPC is a former JW as well.

After searching and looking for what seemed like ages I found the EPC who have a strong focus on scripture rather than interpretation. The EPC has gone through a few changes administratively over time and after a lot of research found that doctinally we were connected at the root to the original Lutherans so we took steps to be recognized by the Lutheran Organization. So now we're the Lutheran - Evangelical Protestant Church. *LOL* Seems like quite a mouth full and probably much more than you wanted to learn in my reply.
