I imagine that most 'hovah's are just assholes, not Satanists.

Perhaps, the Leaders of the Watchtower Society have an agenda, other than just money and power.

Perhaps, like directing people to a FALSE JESUS CHRIST, and a FALSE RELIGION, and keeping them from the TRUE JESUS CHRIST!

Also, do you honestly think that the Governing Body actually BELIEVES the CRAP they teach to the Rank-And-File?

To those of you who scoff at the idea of JWs being involved with Satanic rituals, let me assure you that there have been congregations in the United States where most seemed to be involved in what the WTS teaches to be related practices. Here is how it worked:

The congregation was made up of 60 or 80 "publishers," nearly all of whom were members of the same one or two families. Like many JWs in those days (1940s to 1970s) they avoided M.D.s whenever possible. Also like many JWs they were frequently ill. Where did they seek treatment? From an "alternative" practitioner, in this particular case a "homeopath." This particular homeopath practiced his craft with the aid of "Ouija-Board."

Now, Ouija-Boards have been condemned by the WTS for many years going back to the time that the members of this congregation were seeing this "doctor." Nevertheless, these JWs thought the sun rose and set with this man. Any newly arriving JWs into this town were quickly counseled by certain matriarchal members of the congregation about the wisdom of seeing this particular homeopath whenever illness required it, Ouija-Board and all. This practice went on for years.

So, dont tell me that at least some JWs do not or have not been a party to the occult.

JWs sure seem to be targets for every type of medical quackery. I remember reading about the Radio Biola in the Golden Age and have seen similar machines in museums.

A JW I know was telling me about being treated by an unlicensed practictioner of electrical energy very similar to the Radio Biola machine. I said to forget it and save your money.

One sister went down to Mexico (because the doctor had his license revoked in the US) who treated hundreds of JWs for cancer. I told her it was quackery but she went anyway. Lucky for her she had the money to waste. Her oncologist told her that the concoction was pure poison and she finally tossed it all down the drain.

Another JW told me of some brother who held his hands over this man's body at a height of 3 inches and could tell where the illness was based on the aura he felt (put eerie music here).

Why do JWs consider blood transfusions of source of disease than swallow any darn crap and submit to any pseudo-scientific treatment?

I second (third, fourth, fith and sixth) that. Spewing hate only makes one look really simple minded.

Fine. Please read my post under jjrizo's thread. The police were involved in my case. It wasn't just a nut making accusations.

Perhaps my post might cause you thinking people to re-think. You're playing right into hands and you don't even know it.

It's actually quite simple. So go and read my post. I'll not post it twice.

Am I Satanic because I practice Wicca and Shamanism and do not feel Christianity is for me? I ask, as I wondering what people are defining as Satanic.

I want people to realize that it DOES happen, and that the motives behind it are quite simple. Those who mock it don't even realize that they are playing right into it.

Mimilly, I read your post and I read many other posts from other posters as well. There are no doubt some who will relate to you and others who will not. It's that way with everything in life. This does not make it rational to make public announcements of such things. Accusing someone of murder and satanic rituals. It doesn't matter what we define "satanic" as meaning. It does matter how the majority receives it. If it doesn't matter then that can only mean that ALL the marchers are marching in vain. Why bother if it doesn't matter what the general public thinks. Of course it matters. Thats why this is being done. Because it matters. If history has taught nothing else to anyone other then "the history of peoples reactions", then that alone should be enough to know why it isn't in ones best interest to do such things .

Somethings are dealt with in much better more progressive ways then making public allegations against people known by hundreds of other people as a good person.

You should seriously take a long look at your own personal situation and weigh that against your choice of actions and try and visualize how you will fare. It may help put things in a more productive perspective for you. Otherwise you may end up doing yourself the most damage yet

Plum - I never thot you'd be of the class who choose which genre of abuse survivors to support! I'm appalled.

Satanic abuse is nothing more than a cosy bunch of pedophiles who figured out a brilliant way to keep their victims silent. The mere mention of 'satan' stands to discredit those who dare to tell.

You'll all support those who say they are raped, and abused in numerous other ways - but when it comes to this - you go 'hush hush - we need proof'. You don't go demanding that with other accusations of abuse.

I'm ashamed of ya. I am. It's an insult for you to go picking and choosing which genre of abuse survivors you'll support. THat makes you a hypocrite. And it's an insult.

So due to a public popularity contest, you'll diss people who've gone through horrible things because of a label given it. How shallow and pathetic.

"You should seriously take a long look at your own personal situation and weigh that against your choice of actions and try and visualize how you will fare. It may help put things in a more productive perspective for you. Otherwise you may end up doing yourself the most damage yet"

I'm not the one who has to take a long look at my choice of actions. Productive perspective? I am being productive. Not popular on this subject - but I am being productive. What the hell kind of damage are you talking about? The damage has been done in my life and I am now picking up the pieces. Unlike you, who choose so as to not rub the public the wrong way, I support abuse survivors. I don't pick and choose. Yer all judging. Must be borg on the brain left over eh?

Mimilly of the not impressed with your hypocrisy regarding support of abuse survivors.
