  The allegations of sexual abuse against at least one child and subsequent attempts to cover over the crime made against Theodore Jarcacz are extremely serious. They have of course, yet to be proved one way or the other and Theo Jaracz has the right of proper representation both outside and within the walls of the WT, and should be allowed to defend himself against these accusations.

  Many persons who have in the past been accused of 'gross sins' become victim of an investigation by elders. Jaracz has of course been happy to support this arrangement for decades, often using it as a weapon to silence his opposers. Many on this Board well know the humiliation and truama that having their personal lives put under the microscope can bring, and it is ironic that these 'rules' have now come back to haunt him. He must in all fairness now abide by them or be publicly assessed as a hypocrite who cannot take the punishment that he has meted out to others.

  The person who made the allegations did so outside 25 Columbia Heights last week and according to WTS edicts this allegation MUST now be investigated by two elders to assess whether any case exists to answer too. Now, according to the book, "Pay Attention To Yourselves And To The Flock', p109 #5 which says:

  If there is not enought evidence to form a committee but serious questions have been raised, two elders may be assigned to investigate the matter.

  these accusations must now be investigated.

  Perhaps a call or two hundred to Brooklyn questioning if Mr. Jaracz is going to be investigated by two elders would not be amiss at this point, remember this was not a private accusation but a public one.

  This is not as yet to do with guilt or innocence, it has to do with following the direction of 'God's Organization'

  Although I am not in agreement with sensational method of bringing the accusations against Ted Jarcez, I did remember I had read a post with similar allegations in the Silentlambs guestbook. A search of the information found a letter 02 Jun 2002 Time: 21:21:27 . I remember there was a third letter that related a comparable story from the time frame referred to by Pat Garza but I did not find it. If this letter was not written by Pat then I hope this person will also come forward. I did find a letter that appears to be written by Pat Garza (signed PG) and contains some facts that although strange should be verifiable.

  Maybe the truth is in the number of accounts.

  As to which number we should use. The most damaging to the WT is the Tol free number. Remember Tol free is only tol free to the caller. WT has to pay per minut rates on each and every call placed to this number. I don't know how affective this number is, however, since they may be smart enough to realize the same, and limit access to various departments from callers using this number. I am thinking, though, if each person who reads this post calls their little tol free phone number, well . . . And hey, even if they disable the tol free number we still would have made an impact because fewer average Joes will call.

  There is a simple but difficult way to get the phone number for EVERY person in all of the Bethel facilities. A while back when I toured Bethel, I noticed phone directories sitting in some hallways next to what I guess could be called courtesy phones. I flipped through one of the phone books and saw that every person in Bethel was listed alphabetically along with their extension. These phone books seemed to be easy pickings for a novice thief. I remember telling myself, "go ahead, no one is looking - grab one and stuff it down your shirt." But knowing the WTS, they may have hidden cameras planted so I chickened out at the time. Now I wish I would have done it looking back. I think it would have been worth it.

  But if anyone else would be interested in doing the same, that may be an easy way to get the numbers you may be looking for.....

  Is the person who made the accusation DF'd, and does that make a difference whether or not there will be a WT inquiry into the matter?

  Minimus is right. There is nothing that says Jaracz has to be investigated or questioned by anybody. And if I were him, whether the allegations were true or not, I would have no comment whatsoever.
