My daughter spent two weeks in GB last summer, but didn't really socialize with any natives. People working in shops seemed very reserved, she said, but then again, they are at work. The people working over here are for the most part very reserved, IMO. Sometimes I try to joke with them, but they try to act too professional, it seems.
The Englanders I've met over here are very friendly and outgoing. I think we Americans, and maybe others, see the Buckingham Palace gaurds as a stereotype of the British. LOL!

I've always been under the impression that Brits had bone-dry senses of humor, which I find to be generally true. And I've also seen and heard a LOT of discussion about Brits odd sexual predilictions: like being heavy into spanking, and guys dressing up as women before getting it on, and (hate to say it at this time) more heavily into pedophilia than most other ethnicities. And many other strange feats of sexual daring-do. How 'bout it Brits? Are you all really into zany sexual stuff or no? Tell us all about it?

Jay Leno is shown on CNBC Europe on Saturday and Sunday night BTW.
Some people in the UK do have bad teeth, including members of our Royal family, I don't think there's a stigma attached to having bad teeth in the UK like there is in the US, but I think that goes for most of Europe. Personally I think it's yucky to have bad teeth, I'm with the US on that!

As far as pedophilia goes,I find that as sickening as the next person,and if ever I was to find anybody indulging in that I would not be responsible for my actions,hanging is too good for a pedophile as far as Im concerned,I have never fallen out with anybody on this board and I dont intend to now,but I am a little 'testy' on that bit Francois,but I will take it in the light hearted spirit I hope it was intended.
