Ask them if there was new light that you missed due to being away that would explain the news articles you saw from about a year ago about the Watchtower's involvement with the United Nations? Ask them if this makes it okay now to help out the poor kids by donating to Unicef?

You might ask this elder what good cases of the Catholic religion he might be willing to share.

Then you could segue into a positive commnet about how good it was of the WTS to actually JOIN with the UN and how unfortuante it is that they withdrew their membership when their little secret was revealed.
You could have a lot of fun for commending them for all the wrong reasons.
