After reading everyone's comments about Bill's supposedly "rough & shoddy" letter, it reminded me of TR. Seems Bill has shown he has the perfect "Rough Rider Personality" to forge up the GB/JW's Watchtower-San Juan-Hill. I think the first letter, the March, this second letter and the purpose behind these actions are Ingenious (including but not limited to his actually standing up and refuting his own DF'ing in the cong. How many of us have ever done THAT?) -- Someone wrote that Bill stood up to DF himself. Correct me, please, but I thought he stood up to REFUTE the DF'ing which he felt was UNconstitutional-JW-Wise. -- And so WHAT if he drove off in a huff? Did it ever occur to anybody he might have felt HURT? (Anger is a good disguise for pain, YouKnow). "Let he who has never felt angry and hurt cast the first negative comment..."
Some info on Teddy R. which I found to be kinda funny in comparison to this thread's discussions...
He took the view that the President (in this specific cause, silentlambs) as a "steward of the people" (lambs) should take whatever action necessary for the public good unless expressly forbidden by (JW) law or the (GB) Constitution." For points of clarification. To those who have not heard my voice of concern let me explain where I stand. More than once in my post I have praised the efforts and stated goals of SIlent Lambs. If I did not care for the abuse victims I would simply remain silent and mute on the subject. Due to the great show of support shown to Mr. Bowne and given the fact that any criticism given to the movement was not accepted well by any of the supporters or by Mr Bowen himself I went on my campaign in hopes of getting dialoge started that may indeed reach those in charge and in support.
It is wonderful that such a movement is in place. I am simply saying: DON"T BLOW IT! This is at a whole new level. From where I am sitting Mr Bowen is getting all the praise he needs. He needs criticism. He has to be emotianal in regards to the movement and his feelings about the WT. That alone is enough reason to proceed with caution and consult with people who are willing to stand in his face and tell him he is screwing it up. It is not about Bill Bowen- it is about pediphioles and thier victims. Everyone around here was walking on glass around Mr Bowen- OH Dont criticise the man. He is working so hard. He is this and he is that. Then is it not time that he share the lead with others less emotionaly attached so that the vicitms are properly represented?
I am for the victims. Mr Bowen started a wonderful movement. It is about support for the victims- not undieing support for Mr Bowen. I still stand by my comments that Mr Bowens letters and actions will ultimately ruin what he has worked so hard to achieve. This should not be a YEAH We beat the WT rally! This should be a YEAH!!!! We made a diference for abuse victims. Bill Bowen may be a wonderful man- but he is no prophet sent by god and I am not the devil. The GB are not tools of Saten and neither are the catholic priests. They are all men who wipe their butts each day just as you and I.
If the founder of this good movement continues to brag about childish conduct and write such letters the cause will be defeated from within. This is not a funny movie it is a serious issue. Throwing stuffed lamb- then chuckling over such things over the internet is like two school children laughing over someone falling down the steps. If this is a serious movement then why are'nt the players acting serious about it? why would they allow such silly things to be posted and advertised as laughable conduct?

Then please provide the atty's email addy to send the $10 via PayPal (I have my own PP account) and/or if the atty has a PayPal button at his own site, we would need the URL.
Where is this atty located? Anywhere near me? I'll do the legal typing for FREE if he will charge LESS to silentlambs. I have my own fax machine, xerox machine, computer (I don't do Windows. Mac all the way), and printer. I assume he dictates everything? I have my own dictaphone machine, too. Send me the microcassette-tapes Fed-Ex overnight, etc.
I'd even re-locate for several years, or longer, if necessary. (Been lookin' to get outta here for several years...)
I'm not looking for a "job," this is Volunteer, so I work my own odd-hours day or night, whenever (did it for 12 years for a PI attorney. He loved having a 24/7 office with somebody there pounding the keyboard round the clock). If I use my own paper and ink, etc. for the cause, I would not be doing the $10 PP donation.
Do "political" attorneys generate as much paperwork as PI attorneys? I would assume they generate even more...

Yes, very sad indeed. Rather than appreciation for the march and the joy we all shared there, we come back here (Bill included) to nothing but negativity. No wonder he's irritated this week. How would you feel? It's still my opinion the ones who DID NOT GO are the ones with the stuck-up attitudes that are really really showing now. No one could have been there and come back feeling and talking like that.

Please provide me with PROOF that five members of the GB are child molesters.
And if you can, why go to all this trouble when the evidence should be brought to the authorities to deal with immediately. The main argument seems to be that JW's deal with child abuse internally and don't welcome outside interference. You seem to be dealing with this allegation in a similar manner. Get the police, don't waste time in what everyone knows will be a fruitless exercise.

Please show me where Bill said he was out to reform the entire WT structure of doctrines. It says on the SL webpage his purpose is on behalf of the sexually and/or domestically abused children/teens/adults. There is another group for the blood issue. If you want to start a "rescue group" to get relatives out of the org, please go ahead and get started. Why are you wasting time criticizing the silentlambs cause? You guys are toooooo much. Whine & complain, yet what are you doing for your OWN problems? If you nor your family are sexually or domestically abused lambs, then silentlambs/BB is NOT your guy. You need to hook up with somebody ELSE.

Grits, I don't know you, but you are OBVIOUSLY dead wrong with this assessment of Danny. You, of course, are entitled to your opinion. It's a shame, IMO. If you don't agree with him, fine. However, it seems you are making a character judgment based on this one thread and that is where EMOTION can get a girl into trouble.Emotion is a GOOD thing, most of the time. Just be sure that your emotions come from a place that is based in TRUTH AND FACT, and NOT because your buttons are pushed in the heat of the moment.

That is EXACTLY what we felt at the March in NY, and why we were ALL there - FOR the VICTIMS. We were the happiest YEAH!!! bunch on the planet. Please write the names of the people who were at the March that feel this is about "Yeah, We Beat the WT!"
