old hippie, i figured you might've called him the good or fine shepherd. .....Seriously though, I heard this guy was one of the original founders of CNN and that he is the biggest stickler around. And that he brings a mini computer with him wherever he goes.

David Jolley is currently the CO for the Oklahoma Circuit. He seems a decent enough fellow for a company man. He easily outstrides our last CO, Fred Kua (pronounced queue-ahh). There was a speaker who would rush! through a scripture reading, almost as if it were an interruption of the more important material in his outline. Never warmed up to the guy, seemed to treat any problems of the friends like they were inconsequential.

Sheperd....that name sounds so familiar. I know I had a CO named Sheperd...I'm just not sure which congregation I was in at the time. I'm in the burbs of Chicago. If it comes to me I'll drop you an e-mail.

I know him. His name is Eric and his wife's name is Julia. He's very, very tall and never cracks a smile. He gave up a very lucrative position with either CNN or TBS to become a CO. I had heard that at one time he was asked to fly on Airforce 2 as a news correspondent, but that may be a rumor. He sold his huge house in Atlanta to live in a small travel trailor as a CO. I don't know what kind of CO he is, never had him personally. Obviously he is a very dedicated person to give up the kind of lifestyle he had to serve as a CO.
