Here's another (I'll save the hard ones for later):
You have three boxes. One box contains two white socks. Another, two black socks. A third, one white and one black sock. Each box is labeled with one of those combinations, but all boxes are labeled incorrectly. You cannot see the socks in the boxes, and you may reach into one or more boxes to look at either or both of the socks in a box. What is the least number of SOCKS you much see to be able to label the boxes correctly? Explain your answer.
This is a basic logic puzzle.
Speaking of logic, is this syllogism logical? If not, why not?
All Banks are Financial Institutions. (true)
Bank of America is a Financial Institution (true)
Therefore, Bank of America is a Bank (true)
