All down through history, men and women have stepped forward and proclaimed that they clearly understand Bible prophecy. They've all been wrong. That's supreme arrogance.
But in the last one hundred years, men of the Watchtower have stepped forward and proclaimed that they not only clearly understand Bible prophecy, but that they themselves clearly ARE Bible prophecy being unfolded.
They are THE latter day fulfillment of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Ruth, Esther, Naomi, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Nahum, Zephaniah, Habukkuk, Zechariah, John the Baptist, the Apostle John and the good parts of the Revelation. Virtually ALL the prophets of the old testament and a number of significant characters in the new testament are THEM all rolled into one nifty international printing and multi-level marketing corporation! But! They've always been wrong.
It's blasphemous enough to claim you understand prophecy when you don't, but what would you call someone who claimed they ARE prophecy and yet they've always been wrong?
I could always use my favorite term here to describe them. What would you call them, given their claim and given the facts that their claims are always wrong?
