A Jehovah Witness teacher is allowed to teach nonreligious subjects in a school owned by a religious organization but,

Is not allowed to teach the same subject in a school funded or directed by the military.

Since the Watchtower views all religious Organizations as part of Babylon the Great who had God’s disfavor and would be destroyed at Armageddon, no elder including some members of the GB could explain this policy of employment.ISOCF PG 401

Why could the JW teacher teach in a school owned by a religious organization but not teach in a school directed by the military?-----Anyone?

A Jehovah Witnesses construction contractor could remodel a group of churches but,

could not remodel a "Single" church.

    What!!!!!!

At least up until 1980, rules were designed by committee and only overturned by a 2/3 majority. It led to all sorts of things that were not self-consistent. Malawi and Mexico is a good example. Or the ban on alternative service...which was wrong unless a judge sentenced you to it--but don't suggest that to him!

I never got this one....a Brother or sister CAN NOT do electrical work, plumbing work or construction, etc. on a Church. They are not supposed to even enter a church for a function but the WBTS will sell a Kingdom Hall to a church. WTF?

    HYPOCRITES!!!

I mentioned 1980 since that was the year Ray Franz left the Governing Body. There has been no eyes and ears on the inside since that time, but for what Barbara Anderson has been able to shed light on about the early 90's.

Since 2000, with the restructuring, it is a huge black box. GB 2.0 seem less in charge than GB 1.0. At a circuit assembly, I remember Splane saying that Watchtower won't pick him up for the airport if he is not dressed in a suit.

Sort of true sort of not...

if you as a witness OWN a business, such as a contracting business, you arnt allowed to work for a religious organization "AND KEEP PRIVLIDGES" (not yelling just emphasizing). If you are simply an employee of a contractor you work wherever you are told and its not your fault. Bear in mind the only "threat" is privlidges, not DF'ing or anyother official sanction. The exception is if there is a public safety issue, then a witness can correct the problem without threat to standing in the congregation.

I heard this story ( man, I wish I could find a link ) about this JW who got a job working for Christian charity and after informing all the people at the charity they are in false religion and would die at Armageddon, she/he was treated differently by her/his fellow co-workers.

Of course that resulted in having to leave the job and file a lawsuit which unfortunately she/he won. Watchtower lawyers and money saved the day.

I would like to believe at some level at the average JW can see how moral bankrupt some of their behavior is. Kind of like sueing doctors who save your life
