What is your favorite Simpsons moment?

I would have to say my favorite moment is when Bart goes to the comic book store and has this conversation with Comic Book Guy:

(Bart lays $8 on the table)

Bart: "Can I have this comic book here?"

Comic Book Guy: "No, you may not! This comic books costs $50. You only have $8. So if I were to give you this comic book, I would essentially be giving you $42."

(opens the cash register)

CBG: "Oh, go ahead take my money! I don't need it!"

(Bart reaches into the cash register and Comic Book Guy immediately closes the cash register)

CBG: "Obiously, you do not understand the meaning of sarcasim!"

Another great scene is when the Simpsons go to New York. They are riding in cab and Bart sees some Hasdic Jews and yells:

Bart: "Check it out! It's ZZ Top! You guys rock!"

One of the Hasdic Jews says: "Eh, sometimes."

my favorite character is Gil. Gil has been on only a few eppisodes but he always cracks me up. Maybe because i feel like him a lot. He is a pathetic loser.

When homer went to buy the "canyonarro"s.u.v. , gil the car salesman had the sale stolen from him by another slick salesman. Then, gil gets on the phone with his wife and it goes something like this:

(gil says) you shoulda saw me i almost had the sale. well, no i didn't sell it but i was sooo close. Hey, that sounds like steve in the background. Dear, i thought you said you wouldn't be seeing him again. No, No , don't put him on.... HI steve(nicest voice)

Bart: "I didn't think it was physically possible, but that both Sucks and Blows."

Man, so many moments, I can't pick a favourite.

I really like the who shot Mr. Burns mini series. I think those secondary characters are exceptionally funny, too.

Gil is good, but Disko Stu and the Duff Beer man crack me up whenever they appear. Hopefully, there is no World Series game this Sunday night (the Yankees aren't there afterall . Yes, I'm from NYC, so I'm not just a "carpet bagger" fan.).

Not a regular Simpsons watcher, but when I do I'm always laughing my head off at it.

Homer in space chasing the floating potato chips comes to my mind as a favorite moment, but dang that show is so funny it's hard to narrow it down.

When Bart writes something on the back of Homer's head and Homer literally runs around in circles until he falls over like a breakdancer trying to read the back of his own head.

One that comes to mind is the opening where it looks like the raiders of the lost ark as bart runs out of the house and homer chasing .I agree that the simpsons is one of the funniest things on tv.
