Yes, do. Then, 5 or 10 years from now, after Iraq has denonated a nuclear weapon somewhere, dance in the streets and proclaim again that you didn't spill any blood for oil.

Thank you Lew for seeing some sense in this.
I won't say much about the war that is brewing in Iraq. What I will say is that Sadam needs to be removed from power so events that could be much worse than September 11, 2001 never happen anywhere in the world. I never get my facts from C-SPAN.
Why then do we seek to negotiate with the North Koreans- who took $$$$ to not build weapons of mass destruction- then admits to having them-
Max, I too rarely get my "facts" from C-Span. I prefer seeking both sides of an issue before formulating an opinion. I dread the thought of another war but also realize that tyrants such as Saddam must be stopped.
I wonder how those who want us to believe this is only about cheap oil would feel if the nukes Saddam will inevitably use will be denonated above the Arabian oil fields and render 2/3 of the world's oil unusable for many hundreds of years?
Maybe the world will get lucky and he will only use them for blackmailing the rest of the world to make concessions to him and radical Islam, not unlike North Korea is currently trying to do.
If it does come to war and you are sent, Max, my prayers for your safe return. Personally, I feel if more nations saw the dangers of Saddams weapons build-up and stood united against him, war would be averted.

Thanks again Lew.
I think we should start dropping bombs today
