My heart is very sad

  I know some of the people that come to this board, used to go to the beyondjw.com boards. If you have then you might have known Dana, aka WingedGoddess01. If you did, I am sad to report that yesterday her 14 month daughter died. She was put down for a nap and got the cords from the Venetian blinds wrapped around her neck. Dana is one of the sweetest mothers and people you would ever get to know. If you do not know her, I am sorry to put this here to make you sad. Ex-Jw's are a world wide community and when one of use hurts, we stand in strength for one another, their is no face that is unknown or forgotten. If you know Dana, please keep her in your thoughts, prayers, meditation or what ever works for you. Just know, this was very devastating for her and husband, and their other two young boys. My heart is very sad right now, I am going to step away to collect my thoughts to be strong for my friend.

  They are living through every parents worst nightmare. Nothing can be more horrible.

  this is just so horrifying. There are so many everyday things about the home that can be fatal to children and babies. I know we can't be supervising every second.. that's why it is SO important to get the latest information on childproofing and safety recalls... but there are no guarantees...

  Even the most conscienscious of us make mistakes and miss things. I am so sorry for this family and all the terrible pain they are in... It is so tragic that their dear one has died. I can't imagine what the poor mommy must be feeling... my thoughts are with her.
