Last night I posted a picture of my Watchtower Jack O'lantern and Lyin Eyes double dog dared me to take it to the kingdom hall. Sooo................
After the trick or treating was over, we loaded the kids in the minivan and drove to the kingdom hall. I put the pumpkin on the railing on the front porch right in front of the main entrance. Steve took a couple of pictures of me posing with it then I shot a couple of digital pics for you. Then we took the kids to Mulan and Big Red's for a few minutes before going back to watch for a reaction. It was great, some younger guy came out and stopped, stared at it for a bit then walked on by. Then a couple came out, looked at the pumpkin and the wife MARCHED back inside to give her report. The husband stood and leaned on the railing with the pumpkin right in his face for a few seconds then followed his wife inside. They came out a minute later and took it with them. We were disappointed that it didn't last long enough for more to see it but the young guy who paused and then left it there was just priceless. He did come running back in from his car when the couple came out. Probably to tell them how offended he was and that he didn't want to touch it. I'm surprised they couldn't hear Steve laughing.
Here it is. The Kingdom Hall sign is on the other side of the building so I couldn't get it in the picture but you can see the doors.
