Well, that's it! Now I'm gonna have to put a "Happy Thanksgiving" sign with a turkey on the front door the the local KH.... then later a "Merry Christmas!" sign with a big Santa Clause.

This has got to be the funniest shit I've ever read. YOU ROCK!!!

Sooo, will I soon be hearing a tale through the congregational grapevine about how an evil jack o' lantern appeared at the KH, then uttered, "I don't have to listen to this shit," and walked out on it's own accord? (teehee!!) All from hysterical congregational members who swear they've heard it from a reliable source?

Speaking of Smurf dolls, my sister's been swearing that she will leave a Smurf doll at our KH, and wishes my assistance. I fear this will only strengthen her resolve.....LOL

Next year Halloween falls on a Friday. We can fill the porch with "tower" pumpkins and sit and watch as the Saturday morning service group shows up. That is definitely going to require a camcorder to get the looks of horror when the realize the devils pumpkins have been violating the KH all night long. They'll be chasing deeminz for months!

I like the roof idea. The problem is the roof is really high at the rear of the hall and tiered in front. The front faces a busy street. Hard to sneak a jack o'lantern up a ladder without attraction some attention. I"ll look into it though. It's a very good idea. I'd have to use a glow stick inside, hate to be responsible for a fire.

Also, to those who mentioned trespassing, I'm not df'd or da'd (yet, lol) so I can come and go as I please.

Hi Marilyn....I know if you were a cat, you'd be dead by now of curiousity. The time is getting closer for me to tell you who I am. We still haven't told our families yet that we are out, but the elders and people in our congregation have been phoning and stopping by on the weekends to see what has happened to us. We haven't answered the phone and the times that they've stopped by at the house, we don't answer the door.....of course I had the stereo blasting one morning, so they pretty much have figured out that we're ignoring them. (They should've realized that some time ago) If it goes too much longer that they don't hear from someone that we've quit going, we are going to spill the beans to them. I guess we've just been hoping that the rumor mill would have worked it's way back to them and we wouldn't have to bring it up. I have been really thinking about stopping by Reinhart's place and talking with him. I don't know how he feels about that. I would definitely call him first. I wouldn't stop by unannounced. It would be really nice to visit with him.

Fortunately cats have nine lives jimbob! She's dying to know who you are. I'm curious but it won't kill me not to know.

Knowing you have relatives in N Lynnwood helps. Or are your relatives in South? Can you tell I'm Mulan's daughter? Just one more clue please...

Rachel, I have had some really good laughs here with so many clever people who have learned to live it up and enjoy themselves. I have laughed harder at this thread then at anything else. I have a new hobby for next year... pumkin carving. Thanks for posting this.

Jimbob, you must go see Reinhard. He mentioned that you must know where he lives, so would welcome a visit. He would love it!! No problem.
