FREEMINDFADE- Exactly, good thread. You are right on the money hitting the nail on the head. For years now the WT Society has treated child abuse as a " sin " and not the crime that it really is. And therefore due to this loophole created by WT leaders- pedophiles and child molesters skate away free many times without prosecution from law authorities.

As you state the arrogance factor is HUGE with the GB and WT higher ups. They feel entitled to BE the law of the land. They are such legends in their own minds that they think THEY can determine who is a practicing child molester and not the law. They think that THEY are God . They've even stated that in their Elders manuals and letters to the elders that THEY will determine if someone is a continuing threat as a child molester- it's not for rank & file JW's to determine in their opinion. If that's not ultimate control of people- I don't know what is. Jesus.

It's high time for all of these ugly WT skeletons to come falling out of the closet as well as high time for WT officials to be jailed for crimes against humanity. As I always say : it's a criminal organization

You know what, i never before thought of the GB as being sociopaths. But if they really do not recognize any authority higher than themselves, then they really ARE sociopaths.

The priority is not to protect the abused.

It's not to protect the community.

It's not even to protect the flock.

    It's to protect the Organization.

They don't want to report to the authorities their massive problems because they are under pressure to prove that they have the "true love" of John 13;35 and that they alone are "united" such as stated at 1 Cor. 1:10.

The whole sex abuse scandal is a massive stain that is just too embarrassing for them to come to grips with, so it paralyzes them into doing nothing.

The Royal Commission is unwittingly exposing the policies that exist to protect an organization and not individuals or people in the community. These are unprecedented times.

I don't think that aspect is unwitting Bonsai. It's the end point for this chain of evidence.

It will be an absolute vindication of those who've been speaking out for so long and for those who took their cases to the commission. The organisation is being backed into a corner where they either are negligent or culpable. And in either case absolutely morally bankrupt.
