The new Star Trek Movie, "Nemesis" is premiering on December 13, 2002. I am really looking forward to it.
Although I grew up with the original, I must admit to a certain fondness for the Next Generation and to Captain Picard.
Which did you like better? The original or The Next Generation? Who is your favorite captain, Kirk or Picard?

I'm looking forward to it as well. I've heard that this is the last movie with the Next Generation crew as Patrick Stewart is tired of playing Picard. Shame, because he's the best captain in all the series. Shatner's overacting was really annoying. I've also heard two previews. One loved it; the other hated it. Figures.
I loved the original series but the Next Generation was certainly better written. My only problem with that series is all the technobabble. I don't mind using real science in the show, but oftentimes it came off as the writers being lazy.
Have you heard the rumored ending of this movie?
hmmmm....They both look pretty good to me.Picard's bald head is ok....but capitain Kirk....isn't too shabbie ither.
I think I perfer,Picard and the next generation.something about that mans bald head...lol

altho I was watching some of them and thinking how cheesy some of the effects seem today.

I think if I were in a fight, I would want Kirk with me. If I was trying to negotiate something important, I would want Picard. I think both shows were good and I can never decide what one is better, maybe I just need to realize they are both worth watching. I do not like the current series though, I refuse to waste my time watching it.
