OK, if your "friend" was a "nice" poster here, i.e. one of us (like me), he/she wouldn't mind you revealing h/h name. So if you don't reveal h/h name, then we are going to react with animosity, are we not?

So either:

1. Your friend does not exist

2. H/s is not a poster here afterall

3. H/s is a poster but H/s is not as nice as h/s seems

4. You are a troll

5. You are your "friend"

6. You are a combination of 3, 4, or 5 above.

I have read all your posts so far Tis and I just have one thought ... if you are your friends intellectual superior he must be a blithering idiot. As far as I'm concerned the only "cornerstone" here is Simon who so gratiously puts up with all of our silliness. Posters can come and go without really affecting the direction of this board. If your friend really told you that he is a cornerstone on this forum current direction, I suspect he suffers from a badly overcompensated infiriority complex. This would also explain why he feels you are his intellectual superior

*LOL* If only it were that easy...there are so many topics and so many users that have much to share that convincing you that were are "worthy" of your time, intellect, opinion, etc, its impossible to even try. Do you often meet people and expect them to immediately impress you? IMO its not any way to behave, nor does it say anything about you that is even remotely interesting. No one really likes ad hominem attacks, but I think trying to foist arrogant "intellectualism" upon us right off the bat is much more distasteful. BTW...there are no keystones here as everyone contributes one way or another, which keeps the topics diverse and avoids giving anyone a feeling of more importance over another. Try again please...

I'll refrain fron throwing any insults around seeing as I don't know you or the reason you're really here.

But just like what everyone has said, there is not one person here that could be considered a cornerstone to this site accept for the sites owner and his lovely wife. Mrs co-owner.

So I'll just take a gander at your question to us.

Well I can't speak for anyone else but for me, this site serves as a place to discuss something that has had a major efect on my life with people that have also been afected by the same thing.

And it doesn't always have to be about serious matters.

There is also joking, story telling, laughter,ect...

Kind of like a neiborhood pub.

Accept we've got a large neiborhood here.

Including many people from diferent countries thruout this little old world of ours.

So that's my answer.
I know. It's not too exciting but what the heck.
It's all I got.
