First, thank you, Lucy, for replying to my other post regarding my wedding.
It was a very tough and rough to reach "the wedding ceremony". As my mother-in-law put it, "it was a struggle". Some of you may know my story from my previous posts. I'm DA'd. I married non-jw whom my mom (she is a reg. pioneer) tried to have converted. Instead I learned about the truth about the WTS, and got out. She threatened to shun me and not to come to the wedding. In the end, she came, but she was not approving or agreeable to anything the pastor said or did at the wedding. The pastor was from my friend's church who volunteered to do the wedding and other meetings for free.
Any way, the park was beautiful. It was a small golf course. The weather was perfect. The flowers were perfect and the cake and food were perfect, too. All said that it was such a romantic and very beautiful wedding. I was sooooo happy. After getting out of the WTS, this was my fresh new start and new life. Sadly it has been tainted a little last week when my best student quit. Her mom is a jw. She claimed that she thought I was just an inactive witness. Her family even came to my wedding. In fact I talked to her husband in July regarding my DA. He is not a jw, at least not yet. He told me he had discussed it with his wife, and decided not to follow the WTS's policy! And now she fired me without any notice on the day when she was supposed to pay me. ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not going to let this shunning thing mess up my happiness. I'm happy and planning to stay that way. We are going to go belated honeymoon in spring to Caribean. Ahhhhhh, I'm so much in love and I am so happy!
And thank you all those who have been giving me support when I was going through tough times.
