I'm saying that, imo, the Kats and focus that you have found may help you understand JWD's Focus' sense of humor, but won't help at all in trying to understand who he/she/it is.

The quoted web site http://home.socal.rr.com/crit is all about Focus aka Crit. So Simplesally=Kats in that site, Yeah?

But Simplesally is disfellowshipped and is divorcing Focus aka Crit according to http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=31855&site=3

But in http://home.socal.rr.com/crit she says she's a Witness, attends meetings (with Focus aka Crit), Crit gives links to WBTS web site, both are pro WBTS. Everything is hunky dory.

Am I missing something?

Yes, you're missing the fact that before people get divorced, they are married. Before they get df'd, they are witnesses in good standing. Before someone comes to JWD, they wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. Before you found those web pages, they'd been up for quite some time.

Also, that Focus isn't focus, so finding focus or Kats doesn't matter in context of identifying Focus.

Don't get me wrong, I understand what you say, but until there is an explanation for this, I will continue to wonder.

So, can I deduce from what you have posted so far that:

1. Simplesally (JWD)=Kats on the quoted web site http://home.socal.rr.com/crit

2. That is an old web site, and that the Kats and Focus aka Crits on that site have susequently filed for divorced, etc. as stated by

What I do not understand is the seeming obsession with the identity of Focus on this or any other board. The poster has made a decision for whatever reason to remain annonymous.

Why can't we respect that? I don't reveal my own personal information either. Does that make me a subject of investigation every time I post something others don't like or agree with? Does it matter at all whether Focus is/is not married?

In a nutshell, I want to know if the Focus who posts on this forum is the same Focus on http://home.socal.rr.com/crit

So would others, BTW!

All it takes is an explanation from Focus (JWD) or possibly Simplesally(JWD) aka Kats!
