I know that you know her best, but at 90 it is easy to think that she got a little confused or missheard you.

Does it really matter? If you actually got a shepherding call (and that would be very rare these days) you would have the pleasure of putting them straight.

It is true that dub relatives just do not seem to get it , they know we know longer believe but insist on the sort of conversations like , How near we are to the end? Who will go through? Who will come back? etc.Perhaps the mind set is so strong they cannot switch off -

    sad!

Oh, our mothers!! Why do they love us so??!!

You know, Marilyn, I reckon mom's saying what she wishes were true. She can't bear to think you have a life apart from the Borg, for, if she did, then her whole belief system is called into question. At this time of her life, she simply can't bear it.

Should you be concerned? Short answer is No!

The reality is that in the borg, the DA/DF persons and the "fadeaways" become easy targets for malicious gossip. At times, the Kingdom Ministry has cautioned against speaking ill of DF persons, because they recognise that such ones may come back one day!!! All sorts of bizarre and extravagant claims about the lives of DF/DA ones are made. It's interesting that the "loving" organisation has as much malicious gossip as anywhere else, eh?

You are no longer attending the meetings to be able to defend yourself, so it's likely that all sorts of false stories can gain currency. I'm sure that in my case, I'm viewed as the Devil Incarnate! But does it matter? We have nothing to do with them now, so why worry what they think? They're extremists, cultists, so their views are hardly likely to be reasonable.

    That's what I reckon, anyway.

    Cheers, Ozzie
