I am simply my son's 'dad'

One of our neighbours had a nasty car accident (but was OK) and had to leave earlier to get the train to work.

She brought her daughter round in the morning as Angharad had agreed to take her to school with our two and she is in Dylan's class (our youngest). She is absolutely gorgeous and her and Dylan are inseperable. He got into trouble last week for fighting (he's three and a bit) but we have since found out that the lad he pushed over had been picking on his little friend (that's my boy ).

Cute little girls like that with big blue eyes should definitely be banned as they can make the week willed like myself want to have more kids (argh!!).

As they all trooped out and down the garden path (my own two not looking back), this little angel turned round with a beaming face and waved at me saying "Bye Dylan's Dad !"

Just one of those nice moments in life. Ain't kids great

    Simon,

What a sweet story. Be careful or the stork will be bringing you another little bundle of joy. If that's the case, I hope she is cute with big blue eyes.

    Love,

I lost my name when my daughter went into pre-school. From then on I've been known only as "Jenny's Dad". I will continue to be known as such until my children are grown and I'm fighting senility. I think it's part of The Contract that no one tells you about when you have kids . . . .

Nice story. Sounds like Simon has the baby blues!

My husband and I had two girls and two boys. There is nothing more precious in life than our children. To be called "Dad" or "Mom" is the best title in the world.

I hope my married kids get going soon and make me a "Grandma." I long to hold a baby again. Can't wait to spoil them like only Grandparents can!

Hey, what else is more precious. I tend to be impatient, but then I remember I waited until I was 30 years old to give my parents grandchildren. Had to put 'Kingdom interests first', right?

    Simon,

What a moment? Don't you wish you had that on video tape?
