While it is sad and tragic for any girl of 11 to be having a baby , let alone having sex......look at it this way:
When she's 31 her kid will be 20 and hopefully best buds. Not everyone can have that.
People will think their brother/sister.

Yes, and when people find out they are mother and son....the embarrasment will set in for the mom that she was 11 at conception. How many people have that????

Gumby, I guess it depends what part of the 'hood your from. If you're use to "proper" things and proper etiquette then I guess you can be embarrassed because you had you kid at 11. Im pretty sure that at 30 this kid will have gotten over having her kid so early...she will love her and wont be "embarrased" of her. Most mom's usually arent.
Around my part of town girls are having babies at 13, 14, 15,and 16.
My Mother had my sister when she was 15. Go ask her if she feels embarrased. Quite the contrary my friend, she loves all the complements she gets when people find out she had 3 kids before her 20th birthday and now she looks as good as ever at 51.
Im 30 and my daughter is 11. Works for me. I only wish I had at least 2 .....but guess what?
Im still young!!

Perhaps your right but 11 is pretty young. My daughter married at 15 and had kids 2 years later. I am 48 and have grandkids that are 10 and 7 and that's cool. When I was their age MY grandparents were so old they would fart and not know it......that's old!

To those who say, "you can trust me with your kids" I don't believe child molesters ware signs on their heads that would expose them, and I'm pretty sure they appear to be "trust worthy" people. If being a little over protective will protect my child (if i had one) then so be it. I really wouldn't give a f@#$k what another person thought of that. If this is so common as some has said, that's all the more to keep a closer eye on your childern.
