The Royal Commission would like to know what the way forward is to having Jehovah's Witnesses improve their policies. The existing policies are considered to have "serious issues". McClellan does not seem impressed that the Governing Body is not prepared to send someone to attend. -

Governing Body member, Jeffrey Jackson, WAS going to be summoned, as he was in Australia, but the reply was "it would be unconciable, as he is there to care for family." The request for "compassion" being shown on him, was considered, but "us lawyers don't think he'd be of any use to you" -

How can O'Brien (Australian Branch) assist, and not Jackson (Governing Body), as suggested by the legal team? "The local branch has significant flexibility in adapting ..."
So what they are suggesting is that there will not be a global fix, just small changes to fit in with each country.
