I would say #1....Then i would sit and listen no matter how long it took

Then I would tell him everything will be alright.

Then i would make him his favorite dinner.

Mix his favorite drink.

Give him a full body massage.

If he kicks the cat I would hardly care, cause I have a firm dislike for cats [sorry all you catlovers]. But, should he kick my dog, I'd skin him.

As a general rule, if my man has a bad mood, I ignore him.

Edited to add, when he has calmed down, I'd sit next to him and listen, give him that beer or smoke and do whatever to please him.

If he kicked my cat, I'd kick his balls through the roof of his mouth.............then I would ask him sweetly if anything was wrong.

Well let me see, HMMM! Kick the cat, I would kick his butt, then run like hell and hide till he cooled down enough to talk.

They'll be no kicking the cat at my house, but CC would never do such a thing.
