At this point I have no fear of those clowns. They've done all the damage they're gonna do. I've learned that there are many ways to live one's life. I've learned that a matter of conscience is just that - and that I'll decide such things for myself.
Now I find it fun to read the old books and laugh at them - at myself a little bit too.
The only thing makes me feel afraid is to lose may family in the death. I cant imagine living alone without my son (2 years old) and my wife. I love Jehovah God and his Son, Jesus. All of us receive everyday something as gifts: life, delicious food, love from others. But the WT doesnt give me anything good. They only want to receive our money, they want to have us under its feet and that we died for it. So Im not afraid of the WT.
My biggest fear is they may be right. wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .

I fear nothing about the cult, just really pissed at wasting a 1/4 century of my life, feeling ensconsed in what turns out to be total bunk, fantasy and riddled with foolery.
I fear them doing a couple of mainstreaming doctrinal shifts that would result in explosive growth. I think so many of us here think that the WT is down for the count, but I think that with some changes they could become bigger than ever.
I most fear that they can do the things they do and connive some way to keep it all 'legal' or at least very, very hidden.
They're dangerous because they prey on vulnerable people and I fear for how good they are at it.

Are you still married? How awful and hurtful for your husband to say such a thing. I hope you imagined yourself with a brother in the altogether to keep the score even !!! I'm glad your through with being a doormat. What happened to you that caused you to stand up for yourself?
